About Us
Our Mission Statement
We are a team of faith and community partners united by a common cause: providing rest and restoration to the vulnerable of Portage County. We believe true hope for holistic healing rests in Jesus Christ and his completed work for humanity on the cross.
As an organization, we hold to these core beliefs:
Statement of Faith
-
We believe in one God, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, his virgin birth. He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins. His death is the only means for the remission of sins.
-
We believe the present ministry of the Holy Spirit is to indwell the Christian, transforming and enabling them to live a godly life.
-
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
-
We believe God created mankind in his image. Mankind sinned resulting in physical and spiritual death.
-
We believe salvation from sin is not obtained through good works, but through placing faith in the work of Christ.
-
We believe in the maintenance of good works and holy living as a result of salvation.
-
We believe our mission from Christ is to share the good news of the gospel.
